Easy-to-Read License Plates
Being able to read license plates clearly is important when reviewing footage after an inci-dent.
HDR reduces motion blur and improves detail, making license plates easier to read while vehicles are moving.
Better Image in Changing Light
Rapid changes in lighting, such as exiting tunnels or facing direct sunlight, can affect video quality.
HDR technology in the ELITE 8 adjusts bright and dark areas, helping to maintain clear and balanced images in these situations.
STARVIS 2
All ELITE models feature top-of-the-line Sony STARVIS 2 image sensors for best video quality in challenging scenes.
With sensitivity superior to that of the human eye, it enables object shape and color recog-nition even in dark locations and obtains the required information with accuracy, contribut-ing to greater safety and security in society.
Sony’s image sensors with their high sensitivity and low noise technology, as well as wide dynamic range technology, will ensure that images are captured regardless of daytime or nighttime.

f/2.0
The 7-layer f/2.0 aperture lens (front and rear) provides a great mix of depth of field and low-light performance. The 142-degree angle covers a wide field of view with minimal distortion.
Elite Protection 24/7
ELITE detects and records a wide range of incidents such as driving impacts, parking impacts, sudden acceleration, braking, sharp turns, and speeding using the built-in G-Sensor and GPS.
Pre-Event Recording & Event Protection
- The 1-minute Event clips include a 10-sec-ond pre-incident buffer to show indisputable proof of responsibility.
- The latest 50 Events are protected from overwriting to avoid accidental loss of cru-cial footage.
Parking Mode
Buffered Parking Mode
- Motion: records a 1-minute buffered video whenever a motion is detected by the front or rear camera.
- Timelapse: records constantly at 1 frame per second so each 1 minute video covers 30 minutes of real time.
- In both modes, the dash cam also records buffered Event clips in case of impact.
Power Saving Mode
The dash cam wakes up on impact then goes back to standby mode after 1 min recording (buffered recording not supported).
Provides several days of protection. Ideal when leaving your vehicle unattended for ex-tended periods of time.
